Through the Instrumentality of Fr. Reginald Ibe, currently working with the Schoenstatt Movement in Paraguay, a group of women sponsored and donated the Auxilium Pilgrim Mother Campaign Picture to the Schoenstatt Movement in Nigeria. The picture came from Santa Maria in Brazil, the original place of John Pozzobon, a catholic permanent deacon and the starter of the Schoenstatt’s Pilgrim Mother Campaign. The picture we received is a copy of the original one which John Pozzobon carried on his shoulders travelling thousands of miles proclaiming the message of Mary. We are grateful to Fr. Reginald Ibe and his collaborators from Paraguay who travelled to Brazil to make sure we received this gift. The official reception of the Pilgrim Mother Picture was anchored by the Schoenstatt Movement Director Fr. Patrick Ogbonna and many people belonging to the Schoenstatt Movement from around Ibadan took part in the celebration while most of them, especially the women, were on their Schoenstatt uniform.
