With hearts full of Joy the Schoenstatt Fathers community Ijokodo, Ibadan rejoice and celebrate with the course; Manifestatio Misericordis Patris as they take yet another step in their journey towards the Catholic priesthood in the Community of the Schoenstatt Fathers. They did their second Contract Consecration in the Victory Shrine and it was received by our Superior Delegate Rev. Fr. Okereke Kingsley Kizito who represented our General Superior, Fr. Juan Pablo Catoggio.
This event was timely because the Course Group has two brothers studying theology in Bellavista Chile and also two here in Ibadan. Bro. Stanley Ukasoanya and Bro. Cyprian Avong have been in Chile for more than two years now. They are currently on home holidays and they spent some time around the Victory Shrine with the other two members of the Course Group, Bro. John Obute and Bro. Emmanuel Okeke. It was during this time that they prepared and made this important step in their journey to the priesthood in our community.
In his homily Fr. Kingsley expresses the readiness of the Community to go with them on this journey and to take care of them and also encourages them to be strong and Firm in their YES to the Blessed Mother, to the Church and to the Community.
